Our Local Community

As a people orientated community, we value the involvement of parents and friends. We recognise that through genuine relationships with parents and the wider community we will together build more than a school.

We take pride in being an active part of our community of Johnston and Palmerston, and look forward to being a part of life here for generations to come.  Those involved in the College will be concerned with the nurturing and well being of all who are associated with the school community.

There are many ways parents and friends can get involved in the life of MacKillop Catholic College:

Join the P&F Association
Our previous P&F Association disbanded in 2021. If you are interested in re-establishing a MacKillop P&F Association, please contact the Principal.

Participate in the College Board

Volunteer at the Café, Uniform Shop, Library or Front Office

Come along to our Working Bees

Attend Parent/Student/Teacher Conferences

Volunteer to help out with sporting events

Become a sponsor of our sporting teams or presentation evening awards, or provide sponsorship for our construction fund.
