This course provides foundation skills for those learners who are new to the industry (or who have little or no prior experience in the creative arts) but who may have the desire to work in a creative environment.  Potential job titles or further study may include, photographer, journalism, marketing assistant, graphic designer.

Through studying the course you will gain knowledge and skills in a wide range of interest areas, such as:

IMAGING: is the visual representation of objects you can see.  Digital imaging or digital image acquisition is the creation of digital images. What is important is being able to produce different images for different uses and to also produce the same image for different uses.

PHOTOSHOOT: A very practical module orientated towards capturing/acquiring digital images and preparing them for use in many and varied formats including graphic design, website and social media publication.

ON THE WEB:  Having a web presence with a particular focus on social media marketing, content management and social networking and promotions.
